We practice strict data minimisation on newsletter.clinibyte.org:

  • Newsletter Subscription Form: We collect your email address (required), first name (optional), and your explicit opt-in consent confirmation via FormSubmit to [email protected] so we can deliver the CliniByte Newsletter Briefing.
  • Plan Onboarding Inquiries: When you request a Standard ($17), Pro ($26), or Ultra ($35) plan, we collect your name, organisation, work email, optional phone number, and plan notes to set up your newsletter workspace.
  • Analytics (Consent-Gated): Optional analytics cookies run only if you click "Accept Analytics" on our cookie banner.

Legal Basis and Compliance

We process personal data in accordance with the Uganda Data Protection and Privacy Act, 2019 and internationally recognised GDPR principles. Processing is based on your explicit, affirmative consent (for newsletter subscriptions and optional analytics) and pre-contractual steps at your request (for plan onboarding).

Storage and Retention

Form submissions are routed securely to [email protected] and managed on our verified dispatch infrastructure. When you click the one-click unsubscribe link in any email or contact [email protected], your status is immediately updated to unsubscribed and suppressed from future sends.

Data Subject Rights
